A cut above what you might expect in a tourist seafood area. A REAL Itilian Restaurant with home made pasta and sauces that are as flavorful as you might find anywhere. The outside is not flashy but when you step inside this quaint small authentic restaurant you will understand why it is so hard to get a reservation. Plan ahead to make the reservation and treat yourself to a top notch experience.
We went early New Years Eve with 5:00 reservations. The restaurant was already very busy. We were seated right away. Our waitress did a perfect job. Professional, pleasant and as attentive as needed. 1 got veal parmesan and the other 3 ordered the veal picatta. Absolutely delicious!! Highly recommend for a really nice night out. Check to see if reservations make it easier to eat when you arrive. Enjoy!!

Wow! It's been a while since I had some good Italian food at a restaurant! Tomato sauce was on point and didn't tasted like canned cheap tomato sauce. Loved it! Would definitely recommend and I'd go back!
This is my favorite restaurant in the whole world. It has the best lighting for a very engaging but relaxed experience. The staff are wonderful. The bolognese is my favorite dish from there and I get it every time we go. Their cannolis are also phenomenal. We always book a reservation and they seat us right on time. So much love for Gerardi’s Cafe!
Is it the best Italian restaurant on the east coast? I can’t say for sure. Is it the best Italian place I’ve ever been to? Absolutely. And I’ve been to a thousand places. New York City, Boston’s north end, our home in the Capital Region, etc. Chef Diego and his wife Sasha have been knocking our socks off for 24 years with the best cuisine around. Meatballs as good as my Nonna’s, crab cakes to die for, and excellent chicken and fish choices. And tonight? Papardelle carbonara that was lights out. I wondered aloud if I could get carbonara this good in Rome itself. Great cocktails, stellar service, warm atmosphere. If you’re on vacation in Cape Cod, you don’t want to skip this gem.
Highly highly recommend to anyone wanting delicious fresh and authentic Italian food. The waitress we had was AMAZING though I cannot recall her name. The owner even came out to meet us and thank us for complimenting the food. A small business you should visit. We even got clothing with their awesome Medusa logo! 10/10
The food is absolutely amazing. Our server was attentive and helpful. You get free mini appetizers along with your bread and the portions are filling. They always have creative specials and a menu with lots of options. The dessert menu is not as varied, but everything is still delicious. I would definitely recommend making a reservation as they get packed and there is usually a wait.
